How to paper trade

Five steps to deploy.

    Create or subscribe to a strategy

    Build your own algo trading strategy with the TT condition builder, or subscribe to any strategy from the Tradetron marketplace.

  2. [ 02 ]
    Go to My Strategies and deploy

    All your algos appear under the My Strategies section. Open it and click Deploy on the strategy you want to test.

  3. [ 03 ]
    Select Paper Trading as execution type

    Choose your multiplier (a 2x multiplier doubles the lots), pick Paper Trading under execution type, then click Deploy.

  4. [ 04 ]
    Go to the Deployed page

    After deploying, click Go to deployed. All your deployed paper trading algos appear here, where you can pause or exit any strategy.

  5. [ 05 ]
    Check positions and fine-tune

    View open positions and, for strategies you built, read the notification logs to understand entry-exit criteria — then fine-tune your algo on that basis.
